His work focuses on why speed is lost, where force leaks occur and how to train the body to support long-term performance on the course.
Golf Performance Coach
Lachlan Armour
PGA of Australia professional and Golf Strength, Speed & Power Coach, working at the intersection of performance training and golf swing mechanics.
Coach profile
Before transitioning full-time into coaching, Lachlan was an active member on the PGA Tour of Australasia, competing at the highest level of professional golf. This experience gives him a clear understanding of the physical, technical and competitive demands required to perform under pressure.
Lachlan's pathway into coaching came through Ultimate, first as a player and now as a coach. Having experienced the system from both sides, he understands how structured strength and speed training supports swing mechanics, durability and long-term performance.
With a background in strength and conditioning, Lachlan coaches golfers from junior development through to elite and professional levels, with a strong emphasis on movement quality, force production and swing speed without breaking down.
